Wirecard: raises FY 2019 and 2020 forecasts

(CercleFinance.com) - The German specialist in electronic payments, Wirecard's Q2 consolidated H1 sales rose by 36.
7% to 1.2 billion euros, including 37.4% in Q2. EBITDA came in at 342.1 million euros (+35.8%), while profit after tax reached 157.6 million euros (+50.7%), reflecting another solid performance in the first half of 2019.

In addition, free cash flow rose from 161.4 million to nearly 240 million euros over the period.

Finally, Wirecard has further raised its forecasts, having increased its 2019 EBITDA range from between 760 million and 810 million euros to 765 million to 815 million euros. It has also increased its forecasts for 2020. It now expects sales of over 3.2 billion euros (vs. over 3 billion euros previously), and forecasts EBITDA of over 230 million euros (vs. 215 million euros previously).
