Wirecard: share soars after BaFin's decision

(CercleFinance.com) - The Wirecard share is soaring 12.
5% in Frankfurt today, following the decision taken by the BaFin to prohibit investors from taking new short positions or increase existing short positions on the share of the German payment solutions group.

The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority stresses the existence of recent massive uncertainties in the financial markets, which have been particularly triggered by the performance of the Wirecard course in recent weeks" .

This decision follows an article in FAZ last weekend, which detailed that a short seller had become aware of the time of publication of an article of the FT on the German company, before it was published, explains Aurel BGC.
