Wirecard: a 'fintech' soon to enter the DAX 30

(CercleFinance.com) - Deutsche Börse, the main German exchange operator, last night announced that the share of payment processing specialist Wirecard will soon enter the German DAX 30 index, which is equivalent to the CAC 40.


From 24 September, the Wirecard share, which after rising sharply currently has a market capitalisation of about 22 billion euros, will replace Commerzbank, which has a market capitalisation of slightly over ten billion euros.

The Commerzbank share will henceforth be listed in the German MDAX, the country's mid-cap index.
