Wirecard: strong growth set to continue in 2018

(CercleFinance.com) - Wirecard, the German specialist in electronic payment processing, has unveiled its first estimate of FY 2018 EBITDA of between 510 million and 535 million euros, which suggests a rise of close to 30% relative to 2017.


Analysts at Bryan Garnier note that this range is in line with the consensus of 525.5 million euros.

The announcement made by Wirecard's management was already anticipated by the market. It remains that the dynamics and visibility remain very favourable, analysts comment. The broker has a buy rating on the share, increasing its target price from 90 euros to 94 euros.

For the record, over the first nine months of 2017, the EBITDA of this very dynamic group rose by 34% to 286.6 million euros. Over FY 2017 Wirecard aims for EBITDA of between 398 million and 415 million euros, against a consensus of around 408 million euros, Bryan Garnier states in its report.
