Siemens: names new chairman for portfolio companies division

(CercleFinance.com) - German conglomerate Siemens has named its current head of strategy, Horst Kayser, to lead its portfolio companies division, effective as of 1 January 2020.


The 58-year old executive will become the new chairman of the Siemens Portfolio Companies (POC) division, succeeding Jochen Eickholt, who is becoming a member of Siemens Energy's future executive board.

Eickholt will be responsible for the power generation and oil and gas units.

Under the umbrella of the portfolio companies, Siemens has bundled together several units that have been operating independently since 2019, including its commercial vehicles and logistics businesses.
