Siemens: signs technology alliance with Fortinet

(CercleFinance.com) - US network security product maker Fortinet on Monday announced a technology alliance partnership with German industrial giant Siemens to provide protection for operational networks.


The companies said operational networks have become "increasingly exposed" to cyber threats due to their convergence with IT systems.

Fortinet and Siemens have launched the companies' first integrated solution combining their technology and a global sale agreement to address the security and connectivity requirements of operational technology (OT) networks.
