Siemens: opens new buildings in Switzerland

(CercleFinance.com) - Today Siemens has opened a new campus in Zug, Switzerland, which features a new office building with 1,000 work spaces and a newly constructed production building.


The campus is the international headquarters of the group's building technologies unit, which has 29,000 employees and generated international sales of 6.6 billion euros last year, Siemens said.

The building is also set to become headquarters for the group's smart infrastructure business next year.

The investment volume for new buildings, renovations and other measures amounted to 250 million Swiss francs (about 220 million euros), Siemens said in a statement.
