SAP: takes over Callidus Software

(CercleFinance.com) - SAP has announced an agreement with Callidus Software, whereby the American subsidiary of the software package publisher will acquire this cloud solutions company for an enterprise value of around 2.
4 billion dollars.

The German group will offer 36 dollars per share, which represents a premium of 21% over the weighted average price over 30 days. It will finance the operation with existing cash and a term loan.

Subject to customary conditions, this transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2018. It is largely expected to have a neutral impact on SAP's non-IFRS EPS in 2018, followed by a positive impact in 2019.
