SAP: cloud partnership expanded with Microsoft.

(CercleFinance.com) - Microsoft and SAP said on Monday that they would integrate their offers in a move aimed at giving their customers joint capabilities in the cloud.


Through the expanded partnership, the companies will co-engineer, and go to market together, while deploying each other's cloud solutions internally.

It means that SAP Hana Enterprise Cloud — SAP's private managed cloud service — will be deployed on Microsoft Azure, while Microsoft will offer SAP S/4 Hana on Azure to help run internal finance processes.

Conversely, SAP's procurement solution SAP Ariba is now utilizing Microsoft Azure and is exploring the prospect for further use within its procurement applications, SAP said.
