Daimler: Australia post adopts eCanter

(CercleFinance.com) - Daimler announces that from the month of October, Australia Post will become its first client in the country to introduce the eCanter to its fleet of vehicles.


20 all-electric eCanter trucks will be delivered to Australia Post to deliver parcels in large towns and cities.

Daimler specifies that Australia Post already has the largest electric fleet in the country, with more than 3,000 electric delivery vehicles, and that the addition of the eCanter will contribute to attaining the target of a 15% reduction in the postal service's overall emissions by 2025 compared to 2019 levels.
