Daimler: Mercedes-Benz September sales down 8.2%

(CercleFinance.com) - Daimler has said that Mercedes-Benz sold 202,819 vehicles worldwide in September, down 8.
2% y-o-y. Over the first nine months of the year, sales were almost flat (-0.1%), with 1,715,087 units sold.

“Compared with the best September for unit sales achieved last year, sales were also impacted by delays in certification in some international markets and by model changes,” the German car maker said.

In a highly competitive environment, the group nevertheless boasts the highest number of registrations for an upmarket brand on markets such as the UK, France, Russia, Japan and the US.
