Daimler: Mercedes-Benz October sales rise 5.6%.

(CercleFinance.com) - Daimler said October sales for its Mercedes-Benz premium auto brand reached a new record, with volume growing by 5.
6 percent to 182,812 vehicles thanks to the strenght of its SUV range.

In a statement on Tuesday, the carmaker said its SUVs continued to be extremely popular last month, recording sales of 66,323 units (+12.9%), which is a new all-time high for that month.

Over the first ten months of the year, Mercedes' sales increased to a new high of 1,900,112 representing growth of 11.1% compared with the same period of last year.
