Infineon: Bryan Garnier upbeat after investment in Austria

(CercleFinance.com) - Broker Bryan Garnier has reiterated its "buy" rating on the Infineon stock, along with its fair value of 26.
4 euros, after the group announced a major investment in Austria last Friday.

The broker points out that Infineon will invest 1.6 billion euros to build a new 300mm chip factory in Austria for the production of power semiconductors, with the plant's construction set to begin in the first half of 2019.

The investment should not excessively weigh the group's cash position, analysts said, adding that Infineon's business sector is currently upbeat.
