Fraport: Frankfurt passenger numbers up 5.1% in April

(CercleFinance.com) - Fraport has said that passenger numbers at Frankfurt airport, its main hub, rose 5.
1% to over six million in April, thanks to the timing of the Easter weekend this year.

Easter traffic was in April this year, due to the later Easter holidays compared to 2018, the airport operator said.

For the first four months of 2019, Fraport posted a 3.3% increase in total passenger numbers.

Aircraft movements in April rose by 1.8% to 43,683 takeoffs and landings, Fraport said in a statement on Monday.
