Fraport: September passengers up 5.4% in Frankfurt.

(CercleFinance.com) - German airport operator Fraport said passenger numbers at Frankfurt, its main hub, rose 5.
4% in September to 6.2 million.

Driven by the strong growth of the global economy, the amount of cargo (airfreight + airmail) rose by 4.1% to 187,708 metric tonnes during the past month, Fraport said in a statement on Thursday.

Fraport shares were up 0.7% at 82.1 euros after these figures.
