Deutsche Telekom: Q2 adjusted net profit up 7%

(CercleFinance.com) - Deutsche Telekom has published adjusted net profit that is up 7.
4% at 1.33 billion euros for the second quarter of 2019, as well as adjusted EBITDA AL (excluding the impact of IFRS 16) that is up 7.1% at 6.28 billion euros.

At 19.7 billion euros, the German telecom operator's sales ncreased by 7.1%, of which 69% of revenues are generated abroad, a proportion that is up 1.4 point relative to last year.

"Our business performed well in all areas again in the first half of 2019. That puts us in a position to deliver the results we promised," said CEO Tim Höttges.
