Deutsche Telekom: FCC stalls in examining T-Mobile merger

(CercleFinance.com) - The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will take longer to review the proposed merger of the two US mobile operators Sprint and T-Mobile US, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom.


The American telecom sector regulator intends to take its time to examine the additional pieces that the operators have just transmitted to it, which contain new and substantial elements.

As a result, the FCC is pausing its proceedings as of 7 March, to review these new details and to discuss them with both groups and stakeholders.
