Lanxess: stock down after Q3 results

(CercleFinance.com) - The Lanxess stock is down 2.
4% in Frankfurt today, after the specialist chemist group published Q3 net profit from continued operations that is up 45.5% at 80 million euros.

Ebitda excluding extraordinary items is up 1.5% at 277 million euros, representing a margin of 15.5% for sales growth that is up 4.4% at 1.79 billion euros, in particular thanks to higher selling prices.

In spite of emerging economic headwinds and geo-political uncertainties, Lanxess has confirmed that it aims for FY 2018 EBITDA excluding extraordinary items that is at the top of its target range of 5% to 10%.
