Continental: strategic partnership with Ambarella

(CercleFinance.com) - At CES 2023, Continental announced a strategic partnership with Ambarella, Inc.
, a leading AI semiconductor company.

Both ompanies intend to jointly develop scalable, end-to-end artificial intelligence (AI) based hardware and software solutions for assisted and automated driving (AD) on the road to autonomous mobility.

This strategic collaboration builds on Continental's November announcement to integrate Ambarella's energy-efficient system-on-chip (SoC) family into its advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The partners aim to have their joint solutions ready for global mass production in 2026.

Without really zooming off this morning, Continental shares are still up 0.8%, outperforming a limp market by about 1% in Frankfurt.
