BMW: US sales up slightly in December
(CercleFinance.com) - The BMW brand's US sales increased for a 14th consecutive month in December, with demand for the X3 sports utility vehicle remaining strong, the German carmaker said on Thursday.
Sales inched up 0.3% last month to a total of 34,357 vehicles, compared to 34,253 vehicles sold in December 2017, with BMW's lineup of SUV now representing 63% of sales. The BMW brand sold 311,014 vehicles over 2018, up 1.7% from 2017. In comparison, the Mercedes-Benz brand sold 315,959 vehicles last year, down 6.3%. Copyright (c) 2019 CercleFinance.com.
