Deutsche Bank: successful capital increase.

(CercleFinance.com) - A risky operation scrutinised by the market, after all Deutsche Bank's capital (+0.
2%) was successful, as anticipated by Bloomberg.

The largest German bank managed to raise 8 billion euros, about a month after announcing this "manoeuvre" which is intended to strengthen its balance sheet.

The number of shares in issue has been increased by 687.5 million to 2.067 billion and 98.9% of subscription warrants have been exercised, Deutsche Bank said, whose Tier 1 ratio would have been 14.1% if the capital increase had been made before 31 December 2016.
