Nestlé: towards new redundancies in France?
(CercleFinance.com) - According to Bloomberg, Nestlé plans to lay off 400 of its workforce in France by streamlining its presence in the country to save money.
Quoting union sources, Bloomberg understands that the Swiss agri-food giant, which employs about 13,000 people in France, wants to consolidate its seven locations in Paris and its immediate vicinity in the same place, at Porte de Versailles.
Bloomberg also points out that Nestlé recently announced its intention lay off most of the 550 jobs of its Galderma division near Nice.
