Logitech: hikes dividend, names new chair

(CercleFinance.com) - Logitech plans to raise its annual dividend by 10% and to elect Wendy Becker as the company's new chairwoman, the Swiss computer mouse maker said on Tuesday.

Logitech's board of directors yesterday approved an annual dividend for fiscal year 2019 of approximately 0.73 Swiss franc per share, up approximately 10% from fiscal 2018.

As Guerrino De Luca has decided not to stand for re-election as executive chairman after ten years in office, the board of directors will ask shareholders to elect Wendy Becker as Logitech's new chairwoman, it said.

As a former McKinsey consultant and Vodafone executive, Wendy Becker has been a non-executive member of Logitech's board of directors since 2017.

At the company's annual general meeting (AGM) in September, shareholders will also be asked to vote on the election to the board of Guy Gecht, former chief executive officer of Electronics for Imaging, and Michael Polk, former chief executive officer of Newell Brands.
