Logitech: shares soar after record year

(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss computer accessories maker Logitech reported record sales, and better-than-expected profitability and cash flow from operations for the past fiscal year, with its shares jumping in Zurich this morning as a result.


For fiscal year 2017/2018, sales were the highest ever at 2.6 billion dollars, up 16% compared to the previous year, helped by gaming and video collaboration products.

Cash flow from operations grew by 20% to 346 million dollars - the highest in eight years.

"As we look to the next five years, we will go on the offensive to accelerate the creation of an amazing company," said CEO Bracken Darrell.

Logitech shares jumped 7.9% to 40 Swiss francs in morning trading on the SIX Swiss Exchange today.
