Dufry: share up after strong 2022 financial year
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Dufry reported a strong performance for FY 2022, mainly due to the easing of health restrictions that has supported most of its markets.
The airport retail and duty-free specialist posted sales of nearly 6.88 billion Swiss francs last year, representing organic growth of 76.1% over 2021.
Core EBITDA almost doubled to 606.2 million Swiss francs, giving an operating margin of 8.8%.
In its press release, Dufry explains that the easing of traffic restrictions supported demand "significantly".
Dufry also reaffirmed its targets for 2023-2027 and said that it expects to finalise its merger with Italian company Autogrill by the end of June.
