Dufry: new exec committee shaken, not stirred

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Dufry unveiled the composition of its future global executive committee, which will be responsible for sealing the merger with Italy's Autogrill.


The ten-member executive committee will be led by Xavier Rossinyol, the travel retailer's current chief executive.

It will also include the financial director Yves Gerster, the legal director Pascal Duclos and the sales managers for each business area.

Eugenio Andrades, the former managing director who was director of operations and strategy, will not be part of the group due to a personal absence.

Also absent will be Commercial Director Andrea Belardini, who has left to pursue other professional opportunities, while Sarah Branquinho has retired.

The new committee will be responsible for implementing the long-term strategic plan, called "Destination 2027", which will include the proposed merger with Dufry.

Not particularly convincing the market, the Dufry share was down about 0.5% in Zurich on Tuesday.
