Dufry: adopts simplified group structure

(CercleFinance.com) - Dufry said on Thursday that it has adopted a new simplified group structure to help improve its decision-making speed and to be closer to the market.


Dufry's new organisation replaces the former "Group Executive Committee," with the newly created "Global Executive Committee," which has a reduced size.

This means Deputy Group CEO José Antonio Gea will have new roles, adding HR and IT to his scope of responsibility.

The new structure, which will be effective immediately, aims at accelerating growth and digital transformation, capturing opportunities and increasing profitability, the travel retailer said.
