Swiss Life: unveils 'Swiss Life 2024' program

(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss Life is presenting its new corporate program "Swiss Life 2024" at today's CMD.


The Group is raising its financial aims in all areas. For 2022 to 2024, Swiss Life is aiming to increase the result from fees and commissions to 850-900 million Swiss francs by 2024 ("Swiss Life 2021": 600-650 million Swiss francs) and to achieve an adjusted return on equity of 10%-12% ("Swiss Life 2021": 8%-10%).

The Group also aims to transfer a cumulative 2.8-3.0 billion Swiss francs in cash to the holding company between 2022 and 2024 ("Swiss Life 2021": 2.0-2.25 billion Swiss francs).

It aims to achieve a dividend payout ratio of over 60% from 2022 ("Swiss Life 2021": 50-60%) and a share buyback program of 1 billion Swiss francs from December 2021 to May 2023.

Finally, the group wants to implement a sustainability strategy 2024, with a CO2 reduction trajectory in the directly held real estate portfolio and in corporate ecology.

Since 2009, Swiss Life has successfully completed three corporate programs in a row. And with the current "Swiss Life 2021" program, it will meet or exceed the targets. This is an excellent result and a starting point for 'Swiss Life 2024', management said.

The share is currently up over 3% in Zurich.
