ABB: order won for power plant in Indonesia
(CercleFinance.com) - ABB has announced that it has won a 40 million dollar contract in Indonesia from a consortium comprising Doosan Heavy Industries and PT Hutama Karya, an order registered in the fourth quarter of 2017.
This contract is for the modernisation and expansion of the Muara Tawar combined cycle electrical power plant west of the main island of Java, an innovative project that will add 650 megawatts (MW) of electricity to the national grid.
As part of this turnkey project, the Swiss energy equipment supplier will be in charge of the plant's design, engineering, installation and start-up of support equipment and auxiliary systems.
