Holcim: acquisition in Argentina

(CercleFinance.com) - Holcim has announced the acquisition of Quimexur, a leading producer of liquid membranes for roofing and waterproofing applications in Argentina.
The company has 120 employees - the terms of the deal were not specified.

This follows the Swiss building materials group's rollout of its GacoFlex TechoProtec product range in Latin America, after the acquisition of Firestone Building Products in 2021.

Thanks to this transaction, Holcim is advancing its strategy to grow its solutions and products business to 30% of net sales by 2025 by penetrating the most attractive segments of the construction industry.
