Holcim: completes acquisition of HM Factory

(CercleFinance.com) - Holcim announces the acquisition of HM Factory, a supplier of precast concrete solutions that has net sales of 18 million Swiss francs.


The group says that HM Factory is ideally positioned to capitalise on the growth in industrial and residential construction. It supplies Polish construction projects and exports to Scandinavian markets.

HM Factory is based near Warsaw in central Poland and employs 70 people. Together with Holcim, HM Factory aims to leverage innovative building trends such as 3D printing technology to drive smart design.

This acquisition advances Holcim's "Strategy 2025 - Accelerating Green Growth" with the goal of expanding its Solutions & Products business to 30% of group net sales by 2025, entering the most attractive construction segments, from roofing and insulation to repair and renovation, it added.
