LafargeHolcim: recurring EBITDA up 15.5%
(CercleFinance.com) - LafargeHolcim has unveiled Q1 2019 recurring EBITDA (pre-IFRS 16) of 809 million Swiss francs, up 15.
5% y-o-y (+20.6% in comparable data). At 5.96 billion Swiss francs, the Franco-Swiss building materials group's sales increased 2.2% as reported and are up 6.4% on a comparable basis, driven by its cement and aggregates divisions (+7.5% and +7.6% respectively in comparable data). "Our momentum in the past 3 quarters, a solid global market demand and the ambitions of our teams give us great confidence for reaching our targets for the full year," said CEO Jan Jenisch.
