Clariant: new credit facility of 500 million Swiss francs.

(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss chemicals specialist Clariant said on Monday it had signed a new 500 million Swiss francs multi-currency revolving credit facility (RCF) to be used to reduce its funding costs by around 3 million Swiss francs per year.


The Basel-based company says the unsecured credit facility has been structured as a club deal of a key relationship banks contains an option to increase the operation up to 600 million Swiss francs.

Clariant shares are currently up 0.2% at 17.2 Swiss francs in Zurich.
