Roche: raises dividend with annual results

(CercleFinance.com) - On announcing its annual results, Roche says that its board of directors will propose an increase in the group's dividend to 9.
50 Swiss francs per share.

Subject to shareholder approval, this would be its 36th consecutive increase.

In 2022, the Swiss healthcare group's core business EPS rose 5% in local currencies to 20.30 Swiss francs on sales of almost 63.3 billion Swiss francs, up 2% at constant exchange rates (CER).

The company said it achieved this growth despite lower Covid-19 sales in both divisions: sales in its pharmaceuticals division rose by 2% and by 3% at its diagnostics division.

Also at CER, Roche expects 2023 sales to fall in a low single-digit range, with a broadly similar trend in core business PBT, although a further increase in its dividend in Swiss francs.
