Roche: collaboration with Ibex Medical Analytics

(CercleFinance.com) - Roche announced on Monday that it has signed a collaboration agreement with Israel's Ibex Medical Analytics aimed at improving cancer diagnosis through artificial intelligence.


Under the terms of the partnership, both companies plan to develop a joint image processing platform based on Ibex's algorithms and Navify, the oncology decision support tool developed by Roche.

The alliance is expected to provide customers using Roche's digital pathology solutions with access to Ibex's most innovative features, including prostate and breast biopsy analysis.

Developed by Ibex, Galen is a prostate and breast cancer screening tool based on an AI algorithm that has received CE Mark and Innovative Device status from the US FDA.
