Roche: extends tender offer for Spark Therapeutics to 2 May

(CercleFinance.com) - Roche is extending its tender offer to buy all of the shares of US gene therapy company Spark Therapeutics, the Swiss drugmaker said on Wednesday.


The offer, which was previously scheduled to expire on 3 April, is being extended until 2 May, the company said.

As of yesterday, approximately 11.3 million Spark shares had been validly tendered, representing just 29.4% of its shares in issue.
