Novartis: Q3 earnings up
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday Novartis published Q3 20108 core EPS of 1.
32 dollar, up 6% at constant exchange rates, with a core operating income of 3.55 billion dollars (+9% at constant exchange rates).
At 12.78 billion dollars, the Swiss healthcare group's net sales increased by 6% at constant exchange rates (+3% as reported), mainly driven by Cosentyx, Entresto, Promacta/Revolade and AAA.
For 2018, Novartis has raised its net revenue growth outlook, which is now expected to mid-single digit (at constant exchange rates), and has confirmed growth in core operating income that is in the top half of its single-digit range (at constant exchange rates).
