Novartis: Alcon launches new academy to train professionals

(CercleFinance.com) - Alcon, Novartis' eye care unit, announced on Monday the launch of a new academy for training and educating business professionals.


As part of the initiative, Alcon is launching a new online portal today featuring a library of over 500 training videos, with additional content added regularly.

Alcon already has 26 training centres in countries such as Spain, Japan, and Australia, as well as 42 wet labs, providing eye-care professionals with learning opportunities and virtual reality technology.

As a reminder, the Alcon spinoff is expected in the first half of 2019.
