Novartis: teams up with US firm in digital therapeutics

(CercleFinance.com) - Novartis will team up with Pear Therapeutics to develop digital therapeutics for patients with schizophrenia and multiple sclerosis, the Swiss drugmaker said on Thursday.


The group has initiated its collaboration with the Boston-based health firm to develop novel prescription therapies and software applications designed to treat the diseases.

The collaboration will bring together Novartis expertise in biomedical research and clinical development with Pear's experience in digital therapeutics design and implementation, Novartis said.
