Barry Callebaut: agreement with Burton's Biscuit Company

(CercleFinance.com) - Barry Callebaut announces a long-term agreement with Burton's Biscuit Company, the UK's second largest biscuit manufacturer, to supply over 12,000 tonnes of chocolate and compound a year.


At the same time, the Swiss chocolate maker will acquire Burton's chocolate manufacturing assets in Moreton, near Liverpool. It would hence increase its production capacity in the UK, one of the largest chocolate confectionery markets in Europe.
