Bombardier: wins 324 million dollar contract in China

(CercleFinance.com) - Bombardier Group today announces that Bombardier Sifang, Bombardier's joint venture with CRRC Sifang in China, has signed a contract with China Railway Corp (CRC) to supply 120 train cars for the country's high-speed rail network.


These 120 train cars will be configured into five 8-car trainsets and five 16-car trainsets with an operating speed of 350 km/h. They are set to be delivered between October and the end of this year.

This contract is worth a total of approximately 2.2 billion yuan (i.e. 324 million dollars or 280 million euros).
