Bombardier: delivery of new locomotives to the US
(CercleFinance.com) - Bombardier as announced that it will supply 17 additional ALP-45 locomotives to the US rail group New Jersey Transit.
This group is a long-term partner of the Canadian transportation group, with which it entered into a contract in 2008 for the delivery of 26 locomotives. NJ Transit has since then exercised an initial option on 9 of them in 2011 and the contract includes an option on 37 other locomotives. The amount of this order is estimated at 160 million dollars, or about 133 million euros.
