Ontex: 2019 EPS down almost 20%

(CercleFinance.com) - Ontex has published FY 2019 adjusted EPS that is down 19.
8% at 1.07 euro, with adjusted EBITDA at constant exchange rates that is down 1.1% at 261 million euros, meanings a stable margin of 11.5%.

Revenues of the Belgian supplier of hygiene products came in at 2.27 billion euros at constant exchange rates, down 1% on a comparable basis, with positive price-mix effects in all categories, although shrinking volumes.

The group will propose a dividend of 0.16 euro per share for 2019. For 2020, Ontex forecasts adjusted EBITDA at constant exchange rates of 270-275 million euros, with low single-digit comparable sales growth.
