Ageas: UK unit CEO to step down

(CercleFinance.com) - Ageas UK unit said on Tuesday its CEO Andy Watson will leave the company in June to be replaced by Ant Middle, who is currently the division's chief customer officer.


Watson has decided to step down from his role "to embark on a next stage of his life," including pursuing further academic education and holding non-executive roles, the Belgian insurance company said in a statement.

Watson joined Ageas in 2010 as managing director of its retail arm and became CEO of the UK unit in 2013.
