Gimv: sells stake in Flemish private bus company
(CercleFinance.com) - Belgian investment firm Gimv said that it has sold its stake in Hansea, the largest private bus company in Flanders, which it acquired, along with partner Cube Infrastructure, in 2014.
On Wednesday Gimv and Cube said that they have sold their shares to a fund managed by Deutsche Bank's asset management arm, DWS.
With a fleet of 811 busses and around 1,200 employees, Hansea is responsible for urban and regional connections on behalf of public transport companies.
No further financial details were provided, but Gimv said the deal has no material impact on its net asset value.
