Gimv: sells back Belgian dental care group stake to founders

(CercleFinance.com) - Investment company Gimv is selling its minority stake in Belgian dental care group Benedenti to its founders, four years after it first invested in the firm.


Founded in 1985 as a private dental practice, Benedenti has grown - with Gimv's support - into a large group with eight branches, the company said.

The number of employees has tripled from around 50 in 2015 to nearly 150 today, with a team of 60 dentists, Gimv added.

The yield on Benedenti over the entire investment period is in line with Gimv's long-term average, the company said, without providing any further financial details.
