Gimv: sells majority stake in Dutch medical diagnostics firm

(CercleFinance.com) - Belgian investment firm Gimv has said that it has sold its majority stake in Dutch medical diagnostics company Oldelft Ultrasound after partnering the company for seven years.


In 2012, Gimv invested in the only independent player worldwide in the field of specialised transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) that provides cardiac imaging via the oesophagus.

Gimv said that the investment's yield has exceeded its long-term average, but did not provide any further financial details on the deal, which will have no material impact on its net asset value.
