KBC: sells Polish unit to PKO Bank Polski.

(CercleFinance.com) - KBC has agreed to sell its Polish asset management subsidiary KBC TFI to PKO Bank Polski, the largest bank in Poland, the Belgian financial group announced on Friday.


KBC said the deal will enable its teams to focus on retail clients, small and medium sized businesses and midcaps on the core markets of Belgium, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Ireland.

Established in 2002, KBC TFI had assets under management of over 4.4 billion zlotys (around 1 billion euros) in 2016.
