Solvay: new CEO next March

(CercleFinance.com) - Solvay has announced the appointment of Ilham Kadri as Chair of its Executive Committee, CEO and director as from 1 March 2019, succeeding Jean-Pierre Clamadieu, who will step down from his executive duties and resign as director.


Ilham Kadri will join Solvay on 1 January 2019 for a two-month transition period with Jean-Pierre Clamadieu, before taking the helm of the Belgian chemicals group, continuing with its transformation strategy.

Ilham Kadri is currently the CEO and chair of Diversey, a US-based company specializing in hygiene technologies and services, which she has been managing since 2013, a company whose recovery she oversaw, before its sale to an investment fund.
