Solvay: collaboration with SAS

(CercleFinance.com) - Solvay announced on Thursday that it has signed an agreement with SAS.


The Belgian chemicals group will use its Data Analytics Platform to promote the digital transformation of its main production units.

This collaboration will first be at the level of Solvay's main production sites. Advanced data analytics consists of collecting historical data in real time so as to better understand the relationships between the different production parameters and to improve the performance of resources and assets. This will result in a daily improvement in productivity or a reduction in the rate of usage of raw materials.
